3 Times Prince Harry Lost His Cool in Public

Prince Harry has long been regarded as the one royal who could let his guard down and be himself in public. The Duke of Sussex has also lost his cool in public on a few occasions when he couldn’t control his rage.

Here are a few examples of the prince displaying that emotion in public.

1.In Morocco, the camera was stowed away.

During a royal trip to Morocco with his wife, Meghan Markle, in 2019, Harry lost his cool in public.

According to the Express, a TV cameraman was filming the couple’s visit while they sampled some local cuisines. Children were presenting the dishes to the Duke and Duchess, and the camera operator accidentally hit one of the children in the head with the camera.

“Prince Harry swiftly walked behind Meghan Markle and over to the camera and shoved the camera lens backwards,” according to the publication. With a stern expression on his face, the Duke of Sussex motioned for the cameraman to back off. Prince Harry greeted the child with a smile and a pat on the arm to ensure that they were unharmed. It happened while the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were putting a pigeon pie dish through its paces.”

2.Scolded hotel employees for bringing him plastics.

Another time the duke misplaced it was while staying in a hotel while on his way to a polo match. He was irritated that the hotel staff had brought him plastic and reprimanded them. Nacho Figueras, his good friend and polo star, revealed what had happened on CBS This Morning.

Figueras said, “He was there, and we were at the hotel where we spent the night before the game” (per Express). “He said to someone, ‘This morning I got my coffee, and I noticed that you have a plastic thing on the coffee.’ After that, I sent my shirt, which arrived in a large plastic bag.’ Could we please refrain from using the plastic?!”

“I don’t like to talk about that at all, that’s who he is…,” the Argentine polo player added. “There will be no plastic.”

3.Anger after he and Meghan Markle were’shunned’ at a royal event

Another time Prince Harry was irritated in front of a large audience was at the Commonwealth Day Service in 2020. It was his and Meghan’s final royal engagement, and the duke was visibly upset as he walked behind his brother and Kate Middleton through Westminster Abbey.

When Harry and Meghan were told they wouldn’t be in the procession that day, royal biographer and historian for The Crown Robert Lacey said they were devastated. Before the service, the queen is usually followed by all of the senior members of the family through Abbey.

In his book Battle of Brothers, Lacey wrote, “When Harry heard that he and Meghan were to be so graphically shunted aside on this final appearance, he was furious.” “The servitude of a’spare,’ one of the fundamental reasons for this very sad parting of the ways, could not have been more starkly illustrated.

“The decision had been made without their input, and they were only informed after the two thousand orders of service for guests had been printed, with their names noticeably missing.”
