The Princess of Wales, 42, has started receiving preventative chemotherapy, according to Kensington Palace.
Kensington Palace has confirmed the Princess of Wales is receiving cancer treatment.
We are aware that Catherine, 42, began her preventative chemotherapy in late February and is currently in the early stages of the treatment. The type of cancer has not been confirmed by Kensington Palace.

In January, the Princess had a significant abdominal procedure, which went well. Since no tests had shown the presence of cancer, it was believed at the time that the condition was not cancerous. Post-operative tests, however, later revealed the presence of cancer.
The Princess also addressed her diagnosis in a deeply poignant and powerful personal video message that was captured by BBC Studios on Wednesday and made public on Friday. She said, “This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.”
It has taken some time, as you can imagine. In order to begin my treatment, I had to take some time to heal from a major surgery. Above all, though, it has taken some time for us to reassure George, Charlotte, and Louis that everything will be alright and to explain everything to them in a way that is suitable for them.”
Catherine went on, “By concentrating on the things that will support my healing—in my mind, body, and spirit—I am well and growing stronger every day. It also gives me a great deal of comfort and confidence to have William by my side. As is the affection, encouragement, and kindness so many of you have shown. It is really important to us both.”
