The Duke of Sussex has clearly drifted away from the Firm. Princess Eugenie, his cousin, is one member of the royal family with whom he is still close despite the reported disagreements.
A close friend of the York family, Dr. Anthony Wallersteiner, who chairs one of Sarah Ferguson’s charitable organizations, Street Child, and serves as Jack Brooksbank’s school headmaster for Eugenie, has shared details about their relationship.

Anthony told HELLO!, “I think Eugenie is Harry’s go-to royal.” “I think those cousins are very close, which is good, and I think Eugenie acts as a bridge between Harry and the rest of the family, which is really useful to have.”
Attending Eugenie and Jack’s royal wedding in 2018, the headmaster of the boarding school reminisced, saying, “It was a joyously happy occasion.” Seeing the entire royal family come together to celebrate Jack and Eugenie’s wedding was very charming.
“Seeing Harry and Meghan there was pleasant. It was an occasion to celebrate as a group, with the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh attending of course. The royal family has undergone significant changes in the last five years, but this brings the family back to a more intimate moment.”

Harry and Eugenie have stayed close and communicate frequently; last month, the Duke and his spouse Meghan Markle paid Eugenie and Jack a visit in Portugal. For Jack’s new marketing and sales position in Alentejo, the Brooksbanks are splitting their time between Portugal and the UK.
Eugenie has also visited Harry frequently when she is in the United States. When Eugenie went to California for work in February of this year, the cousins were able to get together. They were also seen together at the Super Bowl in February of 2022.
In the Netflix documentary about Harry and Meghan, the Princess also had a charming cameo, wherein she played beach games with their son Archie.

Eugenie was among the first royals to meet the former Suits star and was among the first to learn about Harry and Meghan’s romance, which is a testament to their friendship.
“I remember Euge hugging Meg, as if they were sisters,” Harry recalled in his memoir, Spare, which was published in January. I recall Charlie, [Harry’s friend], giving me a high five. “We’re home free if meeting the rest of my family goes like this,” I seem to have thought at the time.
