It has been confirmed that the Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry will visit New York City the following week. On Thursday, she was spotted during a low-key outing in Los Angeles.
TV host Jen Su posted a selfie of Meghan on Instagram. The gorgeous model was wearing gold aviators and an oversized striped shirt when she joyfully posed for the camera.
“We met Meghan Markle while heading to dinner after landing in Los Angeles. Very laid-back and cordial, great talk,” Jen Su revealed.
Ninety minutes’ drive from Los Angeles is Montecito, where Harry and Meghan call home.
In honour of World Mental Health Day, the couple will travel to New York City on Tuesday to host the Archewell Foundation’s first-ever in-person event.
Parents will be the target audience for the ‘The Archewell Foundation Parents’ Summit: Mental Wellness in a Digital Age,’ which aims to empower families by helping parents navigate the mental health of youth and children and providing local and global support.
“The families have been engaged with The Archewell Foundation for the past year, bolstering the community and driving towards solutions,” an Archewell spokesperson stated. Their shared goal is to ensure that other families do not experience the same fate by pooling their individual experiences, data, and research.
“At the event, Harry and Meghan will also personally appear and engage in a conversation with Surgeon General Vivek Murthy regarding the significance of mental health awareness campaigns. Project Healthy Minds board member Carson Daly will serve as the moderator for this conversation.”
It’s unclear if Prince Archie, age two, and Princess Lilibet, age four, will travel to New York with Harry and Meghan.
The Sussexes’ journey takes place just a few weeks after they supported the competitors at the Invictus Games in Dusseldorf.
During the tournament, Harry also celebrated his 39th birthday. He and Meghan had dinner with their team at the Brauerei Schumacher restaurant “Im Goldenen Kessel,” which is located in the heart of Dusseldorf.
A member of the restaurant staff exclusively told HELLO! that the Prince was “very generous, and tipped very well,” and that the Duke and Duchess were very welcome guests.
At the time, a source claimed: “It felt like a very happy family meal. It was a wonderful experience because it was Harry and Meghan’s first night dining out of the hotel restaurant. Although they eat with their team every night, this particular evening was unique.”
