Meghan addressed the audience and said, “Good evening everyone, thank you so much for your service and to all the family and friends here that have been there supporting you along the way because this is service.”

“Now, it is my distinguished honour to introduce someone who I believe you will find fascinating,” she continued. In order to make these games as perfect as possible for each of you, he has spent numerous late nights and early mornings planning for them.

“I could not love and respect him more, and I know many of you feel the same way because he is your fellow veteran, having served in the military for ten years and two tours of duty in Afghanistan. He is also the founder of Invictus Games and the father of our two young children, Archie and Lili.

“This is the Invictus family, and this is dedication. Please give my amazing husband, Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, a warm welcome to the podium.

A dazed Harry responded by kissing his wife and saying, “Thank you, my love.”

The couple also goes by a few other names. They address one another by their first names’ initials, H and M. In an interview with Tom Bradby for the ITV documentary Harry and Meghan: An African Journey, this was first made known.

Sincerely, she said, “I have been telling H (as I refer to him) for a long time that it isn’t enough to just survive something, that’s not the point of life. “You need to prosper. You need to be joyful, and I believe I made a genuine effort to adopt the British sensibility of maintaining a stiff upper lip.

Additionally, they call each other “Haz” and “Meg” with affection. Harry is confirmed to travel to London for the WellChild Awards, sponsored by GSK, on September 7. September is going to be a busy month for the Sussexes.

This year’s Invictus Games kicks off on 9 September…

A representative for the couple recently informed HELLO! that Meghan will accompany her husband to the Invictus Games in Germany: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are delighted to attend the Invictus Games 2023 in Dusseldorf. The Duchess will join The Duke shortly after the games start, and The Duke will be present for the entire event.

Harry and Meghan hold a special place in their hearts for the Invictus Games because it was there that they made their first public appearance as a couple. The former Suits star visited competitors and attended the opening and closing ceremonies when Toronto hosted the Paralympic-style competition in 2017. Harry was also present.
