The Duke and Duchess of Sussex may be members of the royal family, but when it comes to their children’s routines, they are just like any other parents.
Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie were born to Prince Harry and Meghan in June 2021 and May 2019, respectively.
In their Netflix documentary series, which debuted in December, the couple provided some fascinating insights into their family life. Harry also wrote about fatherhood in his memoir, Spare, which was released in January.
He recalled returning to London last September for the funeral of his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, and then being reunited with his young children in California. The sad passage also described the couple’s incredibly relatable family life.
“Now, while ecstatic to be back at home, doing drop-offs again, and reading Giraffes Can’t Dance again, I couldn’t stop…remembering,” Harry wrote. Images flitted through my head day and night.
The father of two was seen reading a bedtime story to Archie and Lilibet in a sweet scene from their Harry & Meghan series.
Harry is confirmed to travel to London for the WellChild Awards, sponsored by GSK, on September 7. September is going to be a busy month for the Sussexes.
According to a spokesperson for the couple, Meghan will attend the Invictus Games in Germany alongside her husband. “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are delighted to attend the Invictus Games 2023 in Dusseldorf,” the spokesperson said. The Duchess will join The Duke shortly after the games start, and The Duke will be present for the entire event.
An international multisport competition for wounded, ill, and injured service members is known as the Invictus Games. The event will run from September 9 to September 16.
On August 30, Netflix will debut Harry’s documentary Heart of Invictus. Harry can be seen performing on stage at the Games, which he founded in 2014, in the trailer for the five-part series.
