The Duchess of Sussex was quizzed about a Suits off-screen romance

Married Meghan Markle shuts down love interest question in unearthed interview

Despite being happily married to Prince Harry and Trevor Engelson from 2011 to 2014, Meghan Markle, 42, was questioned in 2013 about an alleged off-screen relationship with her Suits co-star.

Meghan and Patrick J. Adams were asked if they were dating off-camera during an interview with legendary Larry King. After a resounding “No” from both actors, Meghan took the initiative to steer the conversation, stating that “TV sees us a certain way.”

When discussing the subject of on-screen chemistry, it was brought up that Meghan was playing Rachel Zane, Mike Ross’ love interest, who was played by Patrick J. Adams.

The Duchess of Sussex was married to Trevor Engelson at the time the interview was filmed in 2013, and they divorced in 2014.

Meghan and Patrick were questioned about their romantic relationships as well as their opinions of the media attention brought on by the success of the show.

The actress acknowledged that being recognized by the public is “flattering and lovely,” but she also said she felt her privacy had been violated because she was no longer an anonymous person.

The Duchess acknowledged in an interview with Variety magazine that she wasn’t sure she would succeed in the role at the time of Suits.

“Throughout the entire first season of Suits, I believed I would be recast. Every single time. When the creator finally asked, ‘Why are you so worried about this?’ she said, “it reached a point.

Will there be a Suits reboot?

After several seasons of the USA Network legal drama made a comeback on Netflix on June 17, interest in the show has increased this year. After accumulating an astounding 3.1 billion viewing minutes during the week of June 26 to July 2, it subsequently broke the Nielsen streaming record for acquired programming.

Fans have been speculating about a possible reboot or comeback of the show due to its renewed interest, but sadly, Suits creator Aaron Korsh recently crushed fans’ dreams of that.

Let me say right off that there is no #Suits reboot or anything in the works, he said in response to queries about the show’s future on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Meghan Markle has stated that she has no intention of returning to acting, so it is unlikely that she would play paralegal Rachel Zane even if the show made a comeback.
