Princess Charlotte looks so sweet as she teams up with Prince William to back the Lionesses

With a sweet message for the Lionesses ahead of their historic World Cup final match against Spain on Sunday, Prince William and Princess Charlotte have teamed up for the sweetest of reasons.

William and his daughter were seen in the video, which was posted to the Prince and Princess of Wales’ social media pages, sitting on a bench with Charlotte holding a football. “We want to wish you all the luck in the world tomorrow, Lionesses. We regret that we are unable to attend in person, but we are incredibly proud of all that you have accomplished and the countless people you have motivated both locally and globally. So, venture outside tomorrow and have a great time.”

The entire time Charlotte was grinning sweetly, then she added: “Good luck Lionesses!”

William wore a blue shirt and jeans for their video, while Charlotte looked chic in a striped shirt and shorts. The royal couple both rocked a smart-casual look. William had his arm tenderly encircling his daughter, showing off their strong bond.

One viewer commented, “OMG THIS IS PRECIOUSSSS,” and another said, “Lovely message of support, and wonderful to see Princess Charlotte! “, expressing their admiration for the video. So proud of our Lionesses, wishing them the best of luck for tomorrow!”

Another remarked, “Charlotte is such a sweetheart! The Lionesses have good luck. While a fourth person said: “Aww what a sweet video!! Princess Charlotte is such a lovely young lady. I appreciate the pleasant surprise, and I wish the Lionesses luck.

The Prince of Wales has sent the Lionesses many congratulations throughout the competition, and he was overjoyed when they defeated Australia 3-1 in the semi-final. William and Charlotte won’t be present at the final in person, but the Prince of Wales has sent the Lionesses several messages of congratulations.

“What a phenomenal performance from the @Lionesses – on to the final! Commiserations to @TheMatildas, you’ve played brilliantly and been fantastic co-hosts of this World Cup. W,” he penned.

In a letter to Sarina Wiegman’s squad, King Charles praised the group and wrote: “My wife and I join all of our family in sending the mighty Lionesses our warmest congratulations on reaching the World Cup final, as well as our very best wishes for Sunday’s match.

“Both teams have been an inspiration on and off the pitch – and, for that, both nations are united in pride, admiration, and respect,” the statement reads. “While your victory may have cost the magnificent Matildas their chance to win the greatest prize in the game.”

Despite the absence of the British royal family from the World Cup final, Queen Letizia and her daughter Infanta Sofia from Spain have confirmed that they will be traveling to Australia.
