Prince William and Kate love spending time outdoors with their children

The Princess of Wales reveals Prince George’s surprising job during the school holidays

The Prince and Princess of Wales are taking a break from their official responsibilities to spend time with their three kids during the summer break from school.

Close to the family’s Windsor residence, Adelaide Cottage, in Berkshire is Lambrook School, where Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are enrolled.

Last month, after the young royals had finished their lessons, Prince William and Catherine treated them to a trip to the Royal International Air Tattoo Show in Fairford, Gloucestershire, as a final-term treat.

The Norfolk residence Anmer Hall, which was given to William and Catherine as a wedding present from the late Queen Elizabeth II, is where the family of five enjoys spending some of their school breaks.

Many of William and Catherine’s friends reside close to the ten-bedroom home, which is close to the Sandringham estate.

On the Apple Fitness+ series Time to Walk in 2021, William previously remarked about his Norfolk home: “We spend as much time as we can here, it’s very peaceful.”

Prince George also takes on a surprising task at Anmer Hall.

Catherine disclosed how her eldest son helps out around the estate when they visited a local goat farm in Wales last year.

Catherine revealed: “That was George’s job at half term – moving feed.” As William inquired about a robot silage sweeper that was kept in one of the farm owners’ barns, Gary responded that they used it to move feed.

The Prince previously mentioned involving their three kids in farming near their rural home. In 2020, Rhian Roberts, an elementary school teacher whose family owns a dairy farm, overheard William saying that the kids had helped deliver lambs while they were off from school.

William said, “We’ve been lambing with the kids this week. “At first, Charlotte wasn’t sure, but George jumped right in. Louis is a tractor enthusiast.”

The fact that the young royals volunteered with a local Scout group in Slough during the Big Help Out over the coronation weekend in May shows that they have a similar love of the outdoors to their parents.

Prince Louis’ first official engagement was the outing.
