Why didn’t President Biden attend King Charles’s coronation?

It is believed that President Biden chose not to participate in the coronation of Charles and Camilla at Westminster Abbey on May 6 out of a desire to uphold a tradition that dates back to the founding of the United States of America.
Due to the USA’s ardent independence from the rule of the United Kingdom, this tradition forbids US Presidents from attending occasions like coronations.
