For both business and pleasure, Prince Harry, 38, and his wife Meghan Markle fly commercially and privately, but taking a private jet is the height of luxury.
When they officially relocate in 2020, the Duke of Sussex gave a video tour of his personal aircraft during their “freedom flight” from Canada to the US.
Harry gestured toward the camera and said, “Shh. Stay quiet. We’re going to Los Angeles.” This made reference to the couple’s attempt to avoid the international press by moving countries without immediately announcing it.
The Prince oversaw the filming and included shots of the couple’s two dogs, one of which was curled up in a cozy dog bed, as well as Doria Ragland, Meghan Markle’s mother, sitting in one of the single seats.
Prince Archie, who was a baby at the time, was seen sitting on Meghan’s lap as she sat in a plane seat. “Hello, Archie. We’re about to go to where mummy’s from,” she said, grinning and donning a bobble hat and casual clothing.
The roomy private aircraft has a cream and brown interior and space to lay down.
What else do we know about the Sussexes’ private jet?
The MailOnline claims that Harry and Meghan frequently fly in a luxurious 12-seater Cessna jet.
The couple’s private jet is currently listed for around $6.5 million (£5.2 million), according to Liberty Jet, and that’s before a pilot is hired!
It is unknown if the couple owns the plane or rents it out for their travels.
Where do Prince Harry and Meghan Markle live now?
Before finding their own expansive estate, the couple temporarily stayed in Tyler Perry’s mansion after flying to the US.
Harry mentioned the couple’s method of acquisition in his book Spare, stating: “So we pulled together a down-payment, took out a mortgage, and in July 2020 we moved in.”
Before the couple purchased it, the property—officially known as the Chateau of Riven Rock—was listed on the rental marketplace Giggster for people to rent out for photo shoots and events. Many of the rooms, including the games room, wine cellar, and family kitchen, are shown in the original listing, which also includes pictures taken before the royal couple moved in.
Since then, thanks to their Netflix documentary series, where cameras followed them around and documented their daily lives, we’ve gotten amazing glimpses into their opulent home life.
Fans witnessed Princess Lilibet crawling through the grass, Prince Harry reading aloud in their stylish lounge, and Prince Archie baking in the kitchen.
