On Saturday, the Prince of Wales and his son Prince George attended the England vs. Australia Ashes match at Lords Cricket Ground in London.
At the cricket match, Prince William and his nine-year-old son George sat in a box with other notable figures like cricket commentator Mark Nichola, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, and Richard Thompson, Chairman of the ECB (England and Wales Cricket Board). The pair were beaming the entire time.
The Prince of Wales and his son appeared to be discussing the game as they closely followed the England vs. Australia match.
King Charles’s son wore a blue blazer, a light blue shirt, and aviator sunglasses to look smart-casual, while Prince George wore a navy blazer and a white checked shirt to resemble his father.
While the Prince of Wales talked and laughed with Rishi Sunak, Prince George was also seen enjoying a pizza.
The couple’s other two children, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, were not present, nor did the Princess of Wales accompany her husband and son to the game.
As he and his brother Prince Harry attended the Diana Award Virtual Awards on Friday, Prince William surprised royal fans.
Since the coronation of their father King Charles in May, the two had not been seen together until that moment. The Diana Award, established in 1999 in honor of the late Princess of Wales Diana, and her conviction that young people have the ability to change the world, brought the two together.
