Princess Catherine has previously discussed the hectic morning schedule she shares with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and young Prince Louis.
Before the trio starts their classes at Lambrook, life in the royal household is certainly full-on, from organizing breakfast to a constantly changing musical soundtrack and the school run.
But William and Catherine might have a much quieter day on Wednesday.
More than 100,000 teachers are expected to walk out nationwide during the strike, which could have an impact on up to 23,000 schools.
It is unknown if Lambrook will be impacted, but if it is, the royal parents will have to resume homeschooling their children.
Catherine previously acknowledged that she found homeschooling her kids during the pandemic to be “exhausting.”
She participated in a virtual discussion on Tuesday in January 2021 with three parents whose kids attend Roe Green Junior School in Brent and the headteacher of the institution to talk about parenting during the COVID-19 pandemic.
After several months of homeschooling, the parents were asked to rate their children’s math proficiency through a series of exercises. While the other parents gave themselves a “eight,” Catherine won our hearts by admitting she is a “minus five” in math.
That’s pretty good, the practical Princess remarked while laughing. It is clear that I am at the very bottom of the class.
Catherine continued by saying: “I think as parents you have the day-to-day elements of being a parent, but I suppose during lockdown we have had to take on additional roles that perhaps others in our communities, or in our lives, would have perhaps supported us and helped us with.” Catherine then went on to discuss the challenges of parenting during a lockdown.
“Much to my children’s horror, I’ve turned into a hairdresser during this lockdown.”
“We’ve been forced to become teachers, and I personally feel like I’m being pulled in a million different directions. You do your best with everything, but at the end of the day, you’re exhausted.”
