Archie and Lilibet are being raised by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in their lovely Montecito home, and Archie is doing well in preschool.
The adorable three-year-old son of Prince Harry and Meghan adores school and all the fun it offers, and his mother has made sure that their trip home is also a significant and touching learning experience.
The mother-of-two took journalist Allison P. Davis to pick up Archie from school in an interview she gave to The Cut for NY Magazine last year. She documented their ritual in the article that was published.
“If he [Archie] forgets to say please or thank you, Meghan reminds him of the manners that make the man,” she wrote during the ride.
“At a stoplight, she [Meghan] reaches into the trunk and produces a brand-new black backpack and hands it to her security detail to give to an unhoused man on the corner,” she continued.
“They are showing Archie that not everyone lives in a house, live in big houses, some in small, and that some are in between homes,” they said. They created kits to distribute that included granola bars, water, and peanut butter crackers. Then Archie says, “I ate one!”
In his newly released memoir, Spare, which has become the fastest-selling non-fiction book, Harry revealed more information about his family.
He disclosed details about Meghan’s pregnancies as well as the birth of their son Archie. In order to leave the Portland hospital undetected, he wrote: “Within two hours of our son being born we were back at Frogmore.” They did this with the aid of a plain-looking people carrier.
Even though the baby had already arrived, the press was then informed that Meghan Markle was still in labor. Although it wasn’t his decision, The Duke said that it was “keeping people tuned to the show.”
Before the labor announcements were made, Archie was in fact welcomed into the world at 5.26 am on May 6, 2019, it was then officially revealed. A few days later, the parents revealed the name of their son.
Harry acknowledges that they “pulled a fast one” with the birth announcement and that the media were “incensed” about it.
