King Charles’ sweet gesture to Meghan Markle after UK visit praised by royal watchers

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle returned to the spotlight to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with the rest of the royal family after almost two and a half years away.

Since they left in the winter of 2019, it was the first time Meghan had seen her in-laws. During their reunion meetings, there were numerous rumors about tensions within the Palace walls.

The couple wasn’t involved in the majority of the celebrations for the late monarch’s 70 years on the throne, despite their excitement about their visit.

During the four-day celebration, the royals made two appearances on the Buckingham Palace balcony, but the Sussex family was not invited to either one. In actuality, the Queen was unable to attend the Westminster Abbey Service of Thanksgiving because of her health, so that was the only official event they took part in.

They made the most of the festivities, though, by attending Trooping the Colour with the family in a private area and hosting Lilibet’s birthday party at their former Frogmore Cottage residence.

Charles made a touching gesture via his Instagram page, despite rumors of tense relations for the seen. To the delight of fans of the royal family, he chose to include a picture of the couple in his compilation of images from the long weekend.

Prior to taking control of the Royal Family accounts when they became King and Queen, Charles and Camilla maintained an official social media page called Clarence House. The following was posted on that page: “I appreciate Your Majesty’s 70 years of steadfast and committed service.

“Along with other members of the Royal Family, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall attended a Service of Thanksgiving for The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee at St. Paul’s Cathedral.

“In honor of their contributions to community and national public life, more than 400 people were invited to the event.

“Drawn from all four nations of the United Kingdom, this included representatives from the Armed Forces, charities, social enterprises, and voluntary groups as well as the NHS and key workers.”

The first of the nine pictures showed Prince Charles and Camilla leaving the church; the second showed them following Prince William and his wife Kate through the church’s nave in an overhead shot.

Princess Anne, William, and Kate can be seen singing during one of the hymns in the third picture. Prince Edward and his wife Sophie can be seen grinning in the fourth picture, and everyone present can be seen in the fifth picture, which was taken from a high vantage point inside the church.

The Queen’s granddaughter, Lady Louise Windsor, was in the sixth photo, which was taken at the cathedral’s entrance and at the top of the steps, but the seventh was deemed to be the most significant.

It depicts Prince Harry standing between his wife Meghan and his cousin Zara Tindall while wearing his service medals pinned to his suit.

While Harry is looking in the other direction and smiling broadly, Meghan is facing Harry.

The last two photos, one of which is a wider view of the royal family seated at the front of the service, feature Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, daughters of Prince Andrew. Having tested positive for Covid, Prince Andrew was unable to attend the Jubilee festivities.

After months of conflict between the prince and his father, the gesture to include son Harry and his wife Meghan was seen as significant by royal watchers.

When Meghan and Harry paid a covert visit to the UK earlier this year, they got to meet Charles. Additionally, they met the Queen, who they assured would be met by their daughter Lilibet when they returned.

Harry has discussed conflicts with his family in a number of interviews, but in his tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, he revealed the most shocking information.

Harry claimed in the shocking interview that his father had stopped returning his calls and had financially cut him off.

Harry claimed in March that “my family literally cut me off financially.”

“Without the money my mother left me, we would not have been able to complete this. I have that. I believe she anticipated it “Harry said, adding that it served as motivation for him and Meghan to pursue a Netflix deal.

Harry added that his father had “really let him down,” saying: “He is familiar with how hurt feels.

Of course I will always love him, but there has been a lot of hurt and I will continue to put that as a top priority in my life.
