Prince Harry’s decision to begin a family with wife Meghan Markle so soon after their wedding is not surprising because he is undeniably enjoying life as a father of two.
The Duke of Sussex admitted that despite their demanding work schedules as senior members of the royal family, they were eager to start a family as soon as possible after their 2018 royal wedding.

We didn’t want to wait, Harry wrote in his scorchingly frank book Spare. We both desired to begin a family as soon as possible. Our jobs required long hours, and the timing wasn’t good, but it’s too bad. This was always the top priority for us.
To everyone’s delight, they made the announcement during their first official royal tour of Australia, Tonga, Fiji, and New Zealand. The couple gave birth to a son named Archie on May 6, 2019, just a few days before their first wedding anniversary.
Harry said of their attempts to conceive, “We worried about the stress of our daily lives, that it might prevent us from getting pregnant.” Meg was beginning to show the toll; in spite of eating a lot of shepherd’s pie, she had lost a lot of weight in the previous year.

“Friends who had helped them conceive recommended an ayurvedic doctor,” he continued. Ayurvedic medicine, as I understood it, classified individuals into groups. I don’t remember which group this doctor put Meg in, but she confirmed our suspicion that Meg’s weight loss might be a problem for getting pregnant.
“The doctor guaranteed that if you gain five pounds, you’ll become pregnant. Meg continued to eat until she had gained the recommended five pounds, at which point we optimistically turned to the calendar.

In his memoir, Prince Harry also discussed the rewards and difficulties of parenting. He expressed his joy at becoming a father and his dedication to being a hands-on parent. Before welcoming their daughter Lilibet on June 4th, 2021, the couple experienced a devastating miscarriage.
