King Constantine, a distant relative of the late Prince Philip, is presently being cared for in a private hospital by members of his immediate family, including Queen Anne-Marie, his wife of 58 years, and their children.

It’s also known that his sisters Princess Irene and Queen Sofia of Spain have already arrived in Greece. Prince William and his godfather have a very close relationship, but he has not yet responded to the tragic news.

King Constantine, who lived in London with his wife and kids before relocating to Porto Cheli, and William have been frequently seen laughing and joking together in photographs. With a reign that lasted from 6 March 1964 until the end of the Greek monarchy on 1 June 1973, he is regarded as the country’s last king.

Princess Diana, Prince Harry, King Charles III, and Constantine’s wife and kids were also seen vacationing in Majorca with the couple in August 1990.

In actuality, Prince William is now Constantine Alexios, the grandson of King Constantine’s, godfather. He is Crown Prince Pavlos and Crown Princess Marie-first Chantal’s child.

Since it was first revealed that King Constantine wouldn’t be able to attend the Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral, worries about his health have grown. In his place, the family was represented by Queen Anne Marie, Crown Prince Pavlos, and Crown Princess Marie-Chantal.

King Constantine was hospitalized in January of this year with Covid-19 as a result of the news but was released before having a stroke.
