The Prince compared the birth of his daughter to scenes from movies and described in exquisite detail how he bent down with the doctor and delivered Lilibet under his supervision, saying that he wanted his second child to see his face as she entered the world.
In his memoir, Harry also discussed the special protective thoughts that crossed his mind as soon as he laid eyes on his newest family member.
He revealed that after they had returned from the hospital and had a private moment together, Meghan shared with him how much love she felt for him after their life-changing experience. She then wrote down her overwhelming feelings of love in a private poem-like form and gave them to her husband to read, which couldn’t have meant more to the Prince.
In contrast to his overwhelming feelings, Harry also talked about the meals he and Meghan had when they arrived at the hospital: fajitas for the expectant mother and a burger and fries from In-N-Out. He also described how the two danced a little after their meals.
