In his brand-new book Spare, the Duke of Sussex makes astounding claims that his brother, the Prince of Wales, physically assaulted him in the year 2019. The Duke describes the altercation that occurred at Nottingham Cottage and reportedly left Harry with visible injuries to his back in a leaked excerpt from Prince Harry’s eagerly anticipated autobiography, which was published by The Guardian newspaper.
At a previously scheduled gathering of the brothers to discuss “the whole rolling catastrophe” of their relationship, Harry claimed William showed up “piping hot.” William reportedly complained about Harry’s wife Meghan, labeling her “rude” and “abrasive,” but Harry reportedly responded by telling William that he was “parroting the press narrative” and that Harry expected better.

Incredulous Harry reportedly told his brother that William’s actions were not helping anyone, to which William allegedly responded by cursing at his younger brother before launching into a physical assault.
According to The Guardian, Harry allegedly wrote: “William called me another name before coming at me. It all happened very quickly. So quickly. My necklace was torn off as he grabbed me by the collar and threw me to the ground.
“When I landed on the dog’s bowl, my back was cut by the pieces as they shattered. I lay there for a brief period, confused, before rising to my feet and ordering him to leave.
Harry claims that William also pushed him to respond violently, but he declined.

Then, after telling Harry not to tell Meghan about the altercation, William allegedly said, “I didn’t attack you, Harold,” to Harry’s retort, “You mean that you attacked me.”
According to The Guardian, Harry called his therapist, but after Meghan noticed the scars on his back, he came clean with her.
The former actress was “terribly sad,” according to Harry, and “wasn’t that surprised, and wasn’t all that angry.”
Prince Harry only recently acknowledged how tense his relationships with his brother and father had grown during the premiere of the Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan.
Additionally, Prince Harry has since conducted interviews with Tom Bradby of ITV1 and Anderson Cooper of CBS, both of which will air on January 8. On January 10, his book will be made available.

In a sneak peek at the ITV1 interview, Harry declares: “I want a family, not an institution,” adding, “I would like to get my father back, I would like to have my brother back.” The Duke is expected to discuss his tense relationships with his brother William and father, King Charles.
The 38-year-old also says that “it never needed to be this way,” referring to “the leaking and the planting” of information.
They believe that keeping us in some way as the bad guys is preferable, he continued. “They have shown utterly no willingness to make amends.”
The Kensington Palace chose not to respond to the allegations.
