After attending church in Sandringham on Christmas Day, the three children of the Prince and Princess of Wales, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, are undoubtedly taking advantage of their holiday break. The group may be taking a ski vacation before returning to school for the following reason:

Typically, a family finds it challenging to fit a ski trip into the Christmas season, especially with the royals’ strict Christmas traditions. However, this year the family has a special 10-day window after the New Year before the kids must return to school. Just like Prince William and Prince Harry did when they were young boys, this is ideal for a quick trip to the slopes.
The Wales family secretly went on a ski vacation in April, and we have no doubt that they are eager to go again. When the royals went on their first ever family vacation to Courchevel in 2016, George and Charlotte got their first taste of playing in the snow.
The royal children were first-year students at the school. The Queen, who was their great-grandmother, sadly passed away in September, around the same time.

The Wales family was in Sandringham for Christmas, but it is unknown if they will still be there for the New Year’s festivities or if they will go back to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor to finish the holiday season.
Princess Catherine’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, as well as her brother James and sister Pippa, all reside in Berkshire, which is only a 40-minute drive from Windsor. This may have contributed to the couple’s decision to move. Prince William and Princess Catherine’s new home was chosen to give their children a quieter life in the countryside.
Given that her own business, Party Pieces, produces party décor, including everything from paper plates and bunting to pops and banners, Carole will be more than capable of putting on a fantastic holiday display. For Christmas, they even have garlands and balloons!

The Middleton family has even been seen in the past having a few drinks together during the holiday season in a nearby Berkshire pub. Maybe on New Year’s Eve we’ll catch them giving a toast to 2023?
