Tuesday’s special Christmas lunch at Windsor Castle was attended by members of the royal family and hosted by King Charles and his wife, Queen Consort Camilla.
Among those to attend the festive gathering were Princess Anne and Timothy Laurence, Mike and Zara Tindall and their kids, Prince Edward and Sophie Wessex and their daughter Lady Louise.

Prince William, Princess Catherine, and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, were notable absences from the event.
The family was supposed to come, but it’s likely that they opted out for entirely pragmatic reasons.
William and Catherine may have chosen to withdraw to Anmer Hall, their Norfolk home, after George, Charlotte, and Louis’s semester at Lambrook came to an end.
The property, which is in a prime location for the upcoming Christmas celebrations, is where the couple frequently spends holidays with the kids.

The royal family will be staying at Sandringham, which also houses Anmer Hall, for Christmas, as King Charles has already announced.
The Wales family is expected to attend the special event with the King and Queen Consort Camilla, and there is a good chance that young Louis will also get some attention.
The royal family is typically photographed on Christmas Day, as they make their way to church.
Royal fans will be hoping to see Prince Louis with his siblings and parents this year after he nearly stole the show during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, according to the royal editor, Emily Nash. “Prince Louis is now the same age his sister Princess Charlotte was when she did her first Christmas Day walkabout after church.

Children used to only come to the service once they were a little older. When they first went, Prince William was five years old and Prince Harry was seven. Princess Charlotte, however, accompanied Prince William and Catherine when she was a young child.
