Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s incredibly touching gesture revealed

Over 30 reunited and refugee families received holiday gifts from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on Friday.

The couple posted information about their thoughtful act on the website for the Archewell Foundation. A representative for the Sussex family posted the following message alongside a picture of holiday gifts: “On Friday, the Archewell team, including The Archewell Foundation, Archewell Audio, and Archewell Productions, gathered to celebrate the holidays and take part in This Is About Humanity’s annual Holiday Party for Reunified Families represented by Immigrant Defenders Law Center.

This Is About Humanity creates a community of allies and advocates dedicated to raising awareness about separated and reunified families and children at the U.S.-Mexican border.

After the Duchess received an outpouring of support in response to Jeremy Clarkson’s newspaper column, Prince Harry and Meghan made a touching gesture. When the broadcaster went on a rant about how much he “hated” Meghan, he drew a lot of ire from the public.

In his article, which appeared in The Sun, Jeremy said that “everyone my age thinks the same way” and that he dreamed of the day when Meghan would be forced to parade through British towns and publicly shamed.

The Independent Press Standards Organisation (Ipso) announced shortly after the article’s publication that it had received more than 6,000 complaints regarding the article, which is almost half the total number of complaints the media regulator received in 2021.

Jeremy responded to the criticism on Twitter by writing: “Oh dear. I’ve kind of stepped on it. I made a crude allusion to a Game of Thrones scene in a column I wrote about Meghan, and this offended a lot of people.

I’m horrified to have caused so much hurt and I shall be more careful in future.”
