When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle revealed their Christmas card for 2022 last week, fans were ecstatic.
A photo of the couple from their appearance at the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Awards ceremony earlier in December was on the card, which was distributed through their Archewell Foundation.
In the message, Harry and Meghan wished everyone a happy holiday season.
We wish you health, peace, and a happy new year on behalf of our teams at Archewell Foundation, Archewell Audio, and Archewell Productions, from our family to yours. “Best wishes, Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex,” was written on it.
Despite the fact that their admirers adored the tender photo, many were disappointed that the couple’s kids, Archie and Lilibet, were not depicted on the card.
Harry and Meghan took advantage of the chance just a year ago to reveal the world the first image of their daughter, who was born in June 2021.
The image was taken at the couple’s Montecito, Santa Barbara, California, residence by their wedding photographer Alexi Lubomirski. While the Duchess lifted Lilibet into the air, the Duke was seen holding his son Archie.
While the kids weren’t in the show this time, royal fans did get to see a lot of previously unseen footage of Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 18 months, in Harry and Meghan’s new Netflix docuseries.
Archie and Lili appeared in a number of sweet private family videos and pictures shared by Meghan and Harry in the first batch of episodes.
Lilibet made an appearance in footage of Harry reading a story to her on his lap and pictures taken in her nursery. Another scene featured Lilibet and Archie enjoying a tender father-son moment while outside watching hummingbirds fly by.
Lili’s late grandmother Princess Diana was compared to by Harry when describing the physical characteristics of his children. He revealed that she has the “same blue eyes” as his mother and described her as “very Spencer-like.” Harry claims that Archie, on the other hand, is more like Meghan.
