Thanks to their tell-all Netflix documentary, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle fans have been treated to a feast of new wedding details, including one humorous moment from their big day that went largely unnoticed.
The Duchess of Sussex, who had been escorted down the aisle by her father-in-law King Charles, was seen beaming as the couple stood at the altar in St. George’s Chapel on May 19, 2018, in a video. In addition to his endearing response to Meghan’s Givenchy wedding dress, Harry also made a cheeky remark that suggested even royals experience anxiety on their wedding days.

One lip reader claims that he said to Meghan, “You look amazing,” and then he reportedly added, “I’m [expletive] it,” which made the Duchess laugh. Others, though, now assert that he actually said, “Absolutely gorgeous.”
“You know, the world was watching us, but when we were actually at the altar, as far as I was concerned it was just the two of us,” he said in Harry & Meghan, episode four. Whatever was said, we appreciate the sweet exchange being documented on camera.
Shortly after noon, the couple exchanged vows, and they then left the church and took a photo at the top of the steps. Should we kiss? Meghan questioned her new partner. Harry responded, “Yes.”

The pair then boarded their Ascot Landau carriage for a procession through Windsor’s streets. The couple was able to wave to supporters and take in the excitement of the crowd during their 25-minute trip. The Queen hosted the opening reception of the day at St. George’s Hall in the castle.
The royal family included Prince William and Princess Kate, who attended the wedding three weeks after giving birth to their third child, Prince Louis. In a recent image of Kate conversing with other guests inside the reception, she can be seen wearing an Alexander McQueen pale yellow coat dress, which she looked stunning in.

More images from the couple’s wedding album were made public in their Netflix docuseries, including shots of King Charles tenderly kissing the bride on the cheek, Prince Harry emotional wedding speech, and the moment the couple cut their wedding cake with a ceremonial sword.
Later that night, at nearby Frogmore House, where they had taken their stunning engagement pictures, Harry and Meghan hosted a smaller reception for 200 of their closest friends and family members.
