In their Christmas card, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wished everyone “health, peace, and a Happy New Year.”
The photograph was a candid shot taken during their appearance at the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights awards show earlier in December. The card was sent through their Archewell Foundation.
The greeting was on the right side of the card, which had the image aligned to the left.
We wish you health, peace, and a happy new year on behalf of our teams at Archewell Foundation, Archewell Audio, and Archewell Productions, from our family to yours.
“Best wishes, Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex,” was written on it.
The Prince and Princess of Wales shared their Christmas card several days prior to Meghan and Harry, and it had a very different tone from Meghan and Harry’s.
Earlier this year, Norfolk-based photographer Matt Porteous captured this lovely family portrait of Prince William and Kate, both 40, out for a stroll with their kids, Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4.
The Waleses are dressed smartly-casually, with Kate wearing a blue pair of jeans and a repeat broderie blouse from M.i.h. Jeans. William is matching his wife’s blue jeans and navy Ralph Lauren shirt in the meantime.
In the meantime, Charlotte is dressed in a denim playsuit, and George and Louis look adorable in polo shirts and shorts.
The final three episodes of Meghan and Harry’s Netflix documentary were released on the streaming service the day before Meghan and Harry sent their card.
The couple made a number of shocking claims during the episodes, including Harry’s descriptions of screaming fights with Prince William, his allegations that he was denied the opportunity to see the Queen, their “cold reunion” with the royals, and claims of “institutional gaslighting.”
