In their docuseries Harry & Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have revealed significant details about their private family life, including loving wedding images and pictures of their cherished children Archie and Lilibet.
A group of adorable selfies were taken when the couple was forced to virtually date due to living in different countries and were included in the personal photos they shared in episode one of their Netflix show.
Another photo showed Meghan Markle in bed with her laptop and her pet dog Guy while Prince Harry was seen lying in bed with his head on a white pillow and talking to Meghan on FaceTime. A pink sweatshirt and a pair of grey jogging bottoms were seen on the beaming beauty.
I was aware that the only way this could possibly succeed was by remaining silent for as long as possible, Harry said. Meghan continued: “Our relationship started out as this hidden little gem. It had a long journey from the start. There were only texts and FaceTime calls. We didn’t do anything but talk. It simply felt exciting, which I find odd because I don’t believe it was exciting in the way that one might anticipate. It was merely carefree and simple.”
They have also discussed Meghan’s first Christmas at Sandringham with the royal family in the series.
“I still clearly recall calling my mother on the first Christmas at Sandringham and getting the question, “How’s it going? ” Oh my gosh, it’s amazing, I exclaimed “She spoke up.
“Just like the big family I’ve always imagined, it is. And there was just nonstop motion, excitement, and joy.”
The show also included information about the moment the couple got engaged. I found 15 of those electric candles in the tiny walled garden that was under the staff apartments’ observation, Harry said. We now know that the royal was holding a stunning custom ring made with diamonds from his late mother Princess Diana’s collection in the ring box that was seen in the picture of the royal bowed down on one knee.
