Those hoping for a white Christmas had luck this week, as a cold front dumped several inches of snow and ice across the UK.
Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, the children of the Prince and Princess of Wales, participated in the fun with their classmates at Lambrook School while enjoying the chilly weather. Students at the independent preparatory school had “Snow much fun today!” playing in the snow, according to the school’s Instagram page.
Students were seen laughing in pictures posted to the school’s public Instagram page while making snowmen, and other pictures revealed the picturesque winter landscape surrounding the campus.
Other students were proudly displaying their homemade miniature snowmen. Even though they were not visible in any of the photos, it appears that kids of all ages enjoyed their time playing in the snow.
When the royals went on their first family vacation to Courchevel in 2016, George and Charlotte got their first taste of playing in the snow.
Official portraits of William, Catherine, and their young children posing in front of snowy backdrops were released by the palace. A spokesperson at the time stated, “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to share new photographs of their family.”

The pictures depict Their Royal Highnesses taking their kids on a quick skiing trip in the French Alps.
“This was their first holiday as a family of four and the first time either of the children had played in the snow. It was very special and fun short holiday for the family, and they are grateful that John Stillwell [The PA photographer] was able to capture the moment so well. The Duke and Duchess hope people enjoy the photos.”
Prince Louis, the youngest of the Wales children, is also thought to have gone skiing in Courcheval in April of this year with his family. Along with Pippa Middleton, the sister of the Princess of Wales, the royals were spotted skiing and dining at the opulent French resort.
