There’s no doubt that the Princess of Wales is eager for Thursday’s performance of her second Christmas carol concert at Westminster Abbey. Additionally, the royal family is anticipated to show up in large numbers to support Catherine at her festive event.
The former Duchess of Cambridge was joined by Prince William, Carole and Michael Middleton, her parents, as well as her husband’s cousins and their partners.
As they arrived at the Abbey in London, Mike and Zara Tindall and Princess Eugenie were seen being warmly embraced by William and Catherine.
Huge hugs were also given to Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, who had just three months earlier welcomed their first child, Sienna.
The Countess of Wessex, William’s aunt, was also observed scurrying over to hug and greet Zara, her niece.
Last year, Catherine surprised those in attendance by demonstrating her impressive piano abilities to accompany Tom Walker for a special performance.
The concert on Thursday honoring the late Queen Elizabeth II will include guests such as King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla.
The program, titled Royal Carols: Together at Christmas and hosted by Catherine Zeta Jones, will feature the event on Christmas Eve on ITV1.
A Princess of Wales introduction, documentaries showcasing people who go above and beyond to help others, and tributes to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II are among the extra features of the broadcast.
When Catherine was filming a promotional video for the concert at Windsor Castle last Saturday, she was wearing red sequins, as seen in a stunning new image released by Kensington Palace.
“Join us this Christmas Eve for a very special service at Westminster Abbey, full of festive carols and beautiful performances, as we celebrate what makes this the most wonderful time of year.” – the Princess said.
