The Netflix docuseries about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is set to premiere this week, and the British royal family is preparing.
Although it is unknown how much contact the couple currently have with notable members, such as King Charles, Prince William, and Princess Kate, it is not anticipated that they will publicly react to the show.
The last time the royal brothers were present together was in September, following the passing of their grandmother, the Queen, when there was a whispered conversation.
As they and their wives, Catherine and Meghan, went for a walkabout at Windsor Castle, William and Harry astounded onlookers.
The group spoke for more than 40 minutes to the crowds that had gathered at the royal residence to pay their respects. As this was Prince William’s first official engagement in his new position and title, he quickly assumed command of the group.
The royal, who was wearing all black, had a somber appearance as he stopped to talk and shake hands with grieving bystanders who were gathered behind a fence lining the Windsor Castle entrance.
When it was finally time to leave, William addressed Harry, Meghan, and his wife Catherine in front of everyone. He was seen directing them as they got into the car. As William explained what they should do, Catherine, Harry, and Meghan gathered close to one another.
Since Commonwealth Day on March 9th, 2020, Harry and Meghan had not joined William and Catherine for a public appearance. The royal couples used to walk apart from one another and address the crowd from different sides.
There is no doubt that William and Harry’s relationship is strained, and it appears that this will remain the case for the time being.
Much like they did in their interview with Oprah Winfrey, Harry and Meghan are anticipated to make some shocking claims in their series.
The couple mentioned racism at the time, claiming a family member had enquired about the skin tone of their unborn child.
The remark affected William in some way. Days later, while out with Catherine in public, he was questioned regarding the allegations. The Prince flatly denied the allegations, telling the press, “We are very much not a racist family.”
Additionally, he acknowledged that since the interview, he had not spoken with Harry. “But I will do,” he continued.
