The Duchess of Sussex was given away by her father-in-law, King Charles, and not by her estranged father, Thomas Markle. Harry and Charles interacted sweetly when he presented the bride, according to a video posted by BBC News. Without a lip-reader, the conversation would have gone unheard, but the video below reveals what was said.
The clip also included other wedding-related events, such as Harry praising his bride as “amazing” and a tender moment outside St. George’s Chapel.
Do we kiss?” Meghan turned to her new husband as they left the chapel. “Yeah,” Harry replied before giving her a quick kiss.
Sadly, since his blissful wedding, Harry’s relationships with his family have soured, and a new Netflix documentary featuring Harry and Meghan details the consequences.
On Thursday, the first three episodes of the documentary were made available. In a shocking trailer for the show, Meghan revealed how she believed her family hadn’t “protected” her.
The Duke of Sussex provided narration for the one-minute trailer, which was released on Monday “The family is organized in a hierarchy. You know, there are leaks and there are stories that are deliberately planted. It’s an unclean game.”
Before clips of Prince Harry and Meghan being photographed by paparazzi and old footage of Harry’s mother, Princess Diana, being followed by the media, a picture of the royal family at Trooping the Colour in 2019 was displayed.
He continued, “The suffering and pain of women marrying into this institution, this feeding frenzy, and I realized, ‘They were never going to protect you,'” to which Meghan responded.
The former actress was currently sobbing and wiping them away as her husband Harry consoled her. He continued, “I was terrified; I didn’t want history to repeat itself. “Nobody is fully aware of the truth. The whole truth is known to us.”
