The Duke of Sussex compares his wife Meghan to his late mother Princess Diana in the first episode of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan.
A clip of his late mother playing with him and his brother outside Kensington Palace is shown after Prince Harry says in the episode, “So much of what Meghan is, and how she is, is so similar to my mum.”

“She has this warmth about her,” he continues, “she has this compassion, she has this empathy, she has this confidence.”
The footage of Diana was blended with unscripted shots of Meghan bonding with their son Archie.
Additionally, the video clips revealed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have a portrait of Diana in Archie’s nursery. Meghan was heard asking Archie, “Who’s that?” and responding, “That’s your grandma Diana,” while pointing out the picture to him.
When the first episode of Prince Harry and Meghan’s Netflix series premiered on December 1, the Duke commented: “Nobody is privy to what goes on behind closed doors. I had to take every precaution I could to keep my family safe.”

The eye-opening program tells the story of their high-profile love story and what difficulties led them to decide to step back as senior royals. It includes never-before-seen pictures of a pregnant Meghan, romantic selfies, and video from their private life.
Harry also discussed the monarch’s “pain and suffering” in a second trailer.
2020 saw the signing of a contract between The Sussexes and Netflix, which was reportedly worth around $100 million.

The docuseries’ first three episodes premiered on December 8; the remaining three are scheduled to air on December 15—the same day the Princess of Wales will perform her annual Christmas carol concert at Westminster Abbey. Prince William, King Charles, Queen Consort Camilla, and other members of the royal family will be present at the festive event with Kate.
On January 10, 2023, Prince Harry’s eagerly anticipated and “intimate” memoir Spare will also be released. It will give a first-person account of the experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons that have shaped Prince Harry.
