Prior to their resignation in March 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex gave a rare inside look at one of their last engagements at Buckingham Palace.
The royal couple included a touching image of themselves walking towards Buckingham Palace’s Garden entrance as one of the candid photos in the explosive Netflix trailer.

The striking black-and-white image appears to have been taken in 2020, only a few months before Meghan and Harry announced they would be leaving their roles as royals.
The Sussexes have been coy about their upcoming docuseries, Harry & Meghan, but their most recent blockbuster trailer suggests that they will talk about leaving the royal family and moving to California.
According to Netflix, “the Duke and Duchess of Sussex share the other side of their high-profile love story” in the “unprecedented and in-depth documentary series.”
The six-part series, which is scheduled to air later this month, “explores the covert days of their early courtship and the difficulties that forced them to feel forced to step back from their full-time roles in the institution,” according to the synopsis.

In the 30-second teaser, which features Prince Harry as the main character, he asserts that “no one sees what happens behind closed doors,” and Meghan later responds, “When the stakes were this high, doesn’t it make more sense to hear our story from us?”
Prince Harry and Meghan were featured in numerous incredibly intimate photos throughout the emotionally charged trailer, shedding light on their fairytale romance, private lives, and Meghan’s pregnancy journey.
In 2020, the couple agreed to a multi-year, $100 million contract with the industry giant streaming service.

Meghan and Harry said at the time: “Our goal will be to produce informational yet inspirational content. Making motivational family programming is important to us as newlyweds as well. With [Netflix’s] unprecedented reach, we can share content that inspires action.”
