Following the release of the trailer for their brand-new Netflix documentary on Thursday, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s romantic selfies went viral, winning the hearts of royals fans everywhere.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex appeared to be more in love than ever in the teaser, which was shared by the streaming service’s official Instagram account. The husband and wife were captured in one breathtaking image kissing in a sumptuous kitchen while looking glamorous.
The captions for the video read: “Meghan and Harry. A global event for Netflix. In the near future, only on Netflix.”
The couple was seen snuggling up with one of their dogs in another picture from the endearing collection, which also included private shots of the actress while she was pregnant.
The touching montage prompted numerous comments from the couple’s followers. One wrote “Can’t wait!!!!!” next to a string of affectionate emojis.
Love them was followed by the words “Additional” and a red heart emoji. Another wrote: “Yes! I’m here for this (red heart with heart) “.
The audio clip of the couple’s sporadic comments and those of their unidentified interviewer played as the video’s candid images were being taken.
The interviewer inquires, “Why did you want to make this documentary?” Next, Harry is heard saying: “Nobody is privy to what goes on behind closed doors. I had to take every precaution I could to keep my family safe.”
Then Meghan responds, “Don’t you think it makes more sense to hear our story from us when the stakes are this high?”
While Netflix has not officially announced the release date, Page Six reported that it will occur on December 8.
The docuseries debuts almost three years after the royal couple made the decision to leave the royal family and begin a new life in the US.
In an interview with The Cut in August, Meghan said: “Our love story is the part of my life I haven’t been able to share, that people haven’t been able to see.
“I hope that’s the reaction people have when they see any of the projects or content we’re working on,” the author said.
