Inside Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’s plush $6.5m private jet they use across the globe

After the final day of the Jubilee celebrations on Sunday, June 5, Prince Harry, 38, and Meghan, 41, flew back to Los Angeles with their two children, Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1. They were photographed arriving by private jet. The royal couple’s trip to the UK was their first as a couple since resigning from their royal duties in March 2020.

Even though the Sussexes have distanced themselves from the royal family, they are still no strangers to opulence.

When Harry and Meghan decide to travel privately, the MailOnline claims that they choose to fly in an opulent 12-seater Cessna jet.

Modern amenities can be found throughout the Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign aircraft, including large bathrooms, mood lighting, plush leather seats, on-board WiFi, and executive desks.

Given that it was their children’s first long-distance flight to the UK, the Sussexes probably made the decision to travel by private jet out of convenience and comfort.

Their Cessna plane’s mechanics are specially made to ensure “smooth and safe flights,” and they include powerful electrical navigation systems, high-functioning carbon brakes, and fuel efficiency.

Before a pilot is hired, Harry and Meghan’s private jet is currently retailing for about $6.5 million (£5.2 million), according to Liberty Jet. It is unknown if they own it outright or if they rent it out for their transatlantic trips.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made their first public appearance in the UK when they took part in the Trooping the Colour ceremony on the fifth day of the Platinum Jubilee festivities.

While they were visiting the UK, the couple celebrated Lilibet’s first birthday. The photos of Lilibet’s cake were stunning, and the family enjoyed a celebration in the garden of Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

After Claire Ptak and her team at Violet Cakes wowed Meghan and Harry with their magnificent lemon and elderflower cake for their wedding in May 2018, they were given the special task of making their daughter Lilibet Diana’s first birthday cake, a strawberry buttercream floral cake.
