As she joined the rest of the royal family to observe Remembrance Day on Sunday, Princess Catherine cut a solemn figure.
The royal enhanced her stunning pleated black coat dress from Catherine Walker, which she already looked elegant and poised in, with a custom Philip Treacy hat.

Catherine finished off her ensemble with a pair of pearl drop earrings covered in diamonds that once belonged to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana. She also unveiled another stunning piece of jewelry.
The wife of Prince William was spotted donning a brand-new brooch from Bentley & Skinner. The rectangular piece is decorated with diamonds and is made in the Art Deco style.
With a central round-cut diamond at its center and baguette-cut diamonds at its top and bottom, it has been given a distinctive shape by having the corners removed.
The estimated total diamond weight, per the Bentley Skinner website, is 4.5 carats. It “captures the glamour and elegance of the Jazz Age” and was produced in the 1920s.

Additionally, it appears that Catherine might have received the brooch in honor of her momentous 40th birthday. Catherine’s birthday is on January 9, so the item was up for sale for £14,500 in January 2022, according to royal watcher UFO NO MORE.
Although the owner of the brooch is unknown, it was probably given to the Princess as a gift by someone close to her, perhaps her husband Prince William, King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla, or the Middleton family.
Additionally, it’s possible that Catherine got the brooch from the late Queen, who the Princess chose to honor at the somber occasion.

Buckingham Palace released three exquisite portraits of Catherine by Paolo Roversi to mark the Princess’ 40th birthday earlier this year.
Paolo revealed in a recent interview with the Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sera that he took “250 shots almost all in black and white” to capture the three images. The total was eventually reduced to “about 70,” and then to the three that were made public.
Prince Louis, Princess Charlotte, Prince George, and Prince William all participated in the decision-making process.

The dresses were “chosen” by Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen, according to Paolo, and there is another “secret” photo of Catherine that was taken while she was dancing on the set.
In the end, he admitted, “I wanted to take pictures in motion.” “So, using that gorgeous wide skirt, I made her perform a kind of accelerated waltz with a dash of rock’n’roll for my camera. It’s a secret image for the time being.”
