Even though the Duchess of Sussex has two kids, it sounds like her youngest, baby Lilibet, is the one who really keeps her and husband Prince Harry on their toes.
Pamela Adlon, an American actress, joined Meghan in her most recent Archetypes podcast as they discussed motherhood and feeling guilty.
Lili has only recently begun to walk, the mother of two revealed. She is two years and a few months old. Archie is only three years old, so I’m still toddling through it.
Pamela mentioned that she did not feel at home among other mothers. Meghan agreed and talked about her “morning rush” and how she and Prince Harry take care of their kids first thing in the morning. Before preparing breakfast for her family, which is “very important to her,” they prepare Archie’s lunchbox and feed their dogs.
As a result, she predicted that the morning rush would only become more chaotic. But for me, it’s, you know, always up with Lili, get her downstairs, then a half-hour later Archie’s up, with both monitors on so the kids can hear them.
“I start packing his lunchbox as soon as he wakes up while I’m holding her, getting her a small snack, and my husband is helping me get him downstairs,” she continued.
“I prepare breakfast for the trio. For me, it’s very significant. I enjoy doing it. It simply seems to me to be the best way to begin the day.
The former actress discussed how the addition of a third dog has allowed their family to grow. We recently adopted a dog, so I like to feed all three dogs, then it’s time to get Archie ready for school, but it does feel like a whirlwind, she said.
