Halloween is coming up and we imagine Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s children Archie and Lilibet are getting very excited.
The Sussexes are known for commemorating the occasion, which occurs on October 31, by donning their children in adorable costumes in 2021. Given their proximity to several famous friends, it’s possible that the royals will attend their spooky gathering this year.
Meghan described Archie and Lilibet’s Halloween celebration to US talk show host Ellen Degeneres, saying: “We wanted to do something fun for the kids, but the kids were just not into it at all.”
At the time, Lilibet was five months old and dressed as a skunk “like Flower from Bambi,” while Archie, who was two, was dressed as a dinosaur but only wore it for “about five minutes.”
If you’re wondering who could make the Sussexes’ guestlist for Halloween 2022, Archie and Lilibet have some very famous playmates.
Orlando Bloom, his wife, singer Katy Perry, and their daughter, Daisy, live just down the road from Meghan and Harry in Montecito, California. The American singer and the British actor own a property in the same gated community as Harry and Meghan.
In May 2021, Harry opened up on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast about paparazzi attention and how living in Montecito has given him more privacy.
Has it improved since you moved? Dax questioned the king. Harry responded, “Yeah, way better,” before stating, “Orlando Bloom just sent me a message because he’s down the road and we sort of keep in contact because of the paparazzi.
The Late Late Show host and Gavin and Stacey actor James Corden has previously admitted that he and his wife Julia Carey have visited Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at their £11 million Montecito home and that their kids have had a playdate.
He told The Sun: “I have. With the kids, it was more like a play date situation. Following that, it was lovely as we went out to dinner.”
Before stating that he will “always be in their corner,” he acknowledged that he had “a huge amount of respect and admiration for Harry”. Max, Carey, and Charlotte are the three children that the presenter and Julia have.
