The Duchess of Sussex revealed new information about her parenting style for her two young children, Archie Harrison, 3, and Lilibet Diana, 1, in a recent interview with Variety.
Meghan can be seen discussing her children’s favorite shows and hilariously admitting how much she enjoys them, too, in a video that was posted by the magazine on Twitter.
“Lili, her and Prince Harry’s daughter, is only one, so she doesn’t watch TV, she explained, before adding: “But Archie, he’s loved Octonauts for a very long time. It’s incredible that he’s becoming more interested in classic programs like The Magic School Bus. Who could have imagined? He finds it fantastic. Therefore, experiencing it through his eyes has been fun in a way.”
She went on: “And Storybots is amazing; it’s such wonderful children’s programming that is educational and entertaining and has so many great songs. And I’ve turned into that mother who sings the chorus to Tyrannosaurus while hanging out with friends and wonders what she is singing. I’m singing Storybots, oh my god. I am singing Storybots at that precise moment; I am not singing Beyoncé.”
The former actress explained why she and her husband enjoy working from home so much during the interview, confessing: “It enables us to spend a lot of time with our children at this incredibly important time in their lives. This time can never be taken back.”
The 41-year-old also discussed their busy schedules during the conversation, adding: “I make the kids’ breakfast, and we prepare them for the day. We conduct numerous group calls and Zooms, but we also work to divide the tasks that require the most concentration so that we can accomplish even more.”
