Meghan Markle has shared intimate information about her and husband Prince Harry’s bedtime routine, and they sound like any other couple.
The Duchess of Sussex told Variety that when they do turn on the television, they settle in for “endless searching” on streaming services. She also mentioned that she is currently relearning French and that they continue to play Wordle.
She explained, “If we turn on the TV, which is fairly rare, we are like most people with endless, endless, endless searching until you get so tired of searching that you end up not watching anything. After the kids are in bed, we play a little Wordle or [I] finish my ten minutes of DuoLingo.
The White Lotus on HBO, however, did manage to capture the couple’s attention “There are some amazing shows on right now, and I believe that engaging storytelling is worth watching. Nothing else compares to it. A prime example of that is the White Lotus.”
Meghan rapped a verse from one of the educational songs in the children’s television program Storybots as she also mentioned that her three-year-old son Archie is a big fan of the cartoons Octonauts and Storybots.
As a former actress, Meghan is best known for playing Rachel Zane, a paralegal in the American legal drama Suits. In March 2020, Harry and Meghan retired from their royal responsibilities and moved to Montecito, which is two hours north of Los Angeles. In addition to starting their Archewell organization, the couple has agreements with Netflix and Spotify to produce content, including Meghan’s podcast Archetypes.
The open conversation also revealed that she and Harry decided to keep working from home so they could be actively involved in raising their children, Lili, who is one year old, and Archie, who is two.
As most people began to do during lockdown, she said, “We work from home.”
