During a video call with the WellChild Award winners this week, Prince Harry provided a number of updates regarding his two children.
The Duke of Sussex opened up about his relationship with wife Meghan, their children Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1, as well as their family life. You might have missed one sweet detail, though.
Harry shared several adorable details, such as Archie’s “squeaky little voice” and his kids’ favorite toys. And it was while talking about the latter that he quietly revealed a charming extra detail.

The 38-year-old saw ten-year-old Shakeerah Crowther’s enormous giraffe balloon while speaking with the child and said: “How long have you owned that giraffe, Shakeerah? We call him Gerald, and Archie also has a giraffe that has lived a very long time.”
Royal fans immediately noticed the detail, which appears to indicate that Archie, like many kids his age, likes to watch Peppa Pig. Notably, the show’s giraffe also goes by the name Gerald.
After the WellChild Awards ceremony on September 8, Harry made a video call to her. When Buckingham Palace issued a statement regarding the Queen’s health, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were compelled to cancel their plans to attend the opulent ceremony.

Harry was asked about Archie and Lilibet’s relationship at another point in the call. “They’re doing wonderful. Lili is learning to use her voice, which is fantastic, but Archie is extremely, extremely busy “He answered.
Journalist Allison P. Davis for The Cut recently gave fans a close-up look at Harry and Meghan’s family life.
When Meghan went to pick up Archie from preschool, she brought Allison along. The journalist revealed: “To see her makes him so happy. In his little voice, he keeps saying “Momma, Momma, Momma” as he runs toward her, leaving his lunchbox on the ground.

She encloses him in a tight embrace that is so genuine that they both close their eyes.
“If he [Archie] forgets to say please or thank you, Meghan reminds him of the manners that make the man,” Allison wrote during the car ride.
Next she added: “She [Meghan] pulls out a brand-new black backpack from the trunk at a stoplight and hands it to her security detail to give to a homeless man on the corner.

“Archie is being taught that some people live in large homes, some in small homes, and some in between. They created kits to distribute that included granola bars, water, and peanut butter crackers. I ate one!” says Archie in response.”
