In addition to providing fans with a glimpse into their lives with their children, Archie and Lilibet, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also opened the doors to their Montecito mansion for a candid interview.
The Duchess gave an endearing glimpse into their parenting to journalist Allison P. Davis for The Cut in The New York Times.

When they arrived home, Lilibet was the center of attention. Meghan had brought Allison along with her on the school run to pick up Archie from his preschool.
According to the article, Harry took the initiative in an effort to make their adorable little girl laugh. Archie jumps out of the car as we approach the house. Archie flings himself around Harry’s legs as he ends a phone call.
“Lilibet’s nanny brings her out. She is unsmiling and has watchful bright blue eyes. She is small and ginger, and it is instinctive to do anything to amuse small children when they are not smiling in a room.
Harry begins to dance to his own beatboxing, Meghan bends down and joins in, and I soon find myself following suit. However, when Meghan smiles lopsidedly, we all realize that this form of bonding is a little odd.

The incident that was described wasn’t the only endearing glimpse into their relationship with their kids.
Archie’s eyes were filled with unbridled joy when his mother met him at the school gates, according to Allison.
She wrote, “He’s so eager to see her.” He runs toward her while saying “Momma, Momma, Momma” in a small voice, leaving his lunchbox on the ground. They both close their eyes as she snatches him up in a bear hug that is so genuine in its emotion.
It was revealed that Archie and Meghan have a sweet custom on the way home, which led to more documentation of their interaction.

“If he [Archie] forgets to say please or thank you, Meghan reminds him of the manners that make the man,” Allison wrote during the car ride.
“At a stoplight, she [Meghan] reaches into the trunk and produces a brand-new black backpack and hands it to her security detail to give to an unhoused man on the corner,” she continued.
“They are showing Archie that not everyone lives in a house, some do, some do, and some live in a house between two others,” they said. They created kits to distribute that included granola bars, water, and peanut butter crackers. Then Archie says, “I ate one!”
