One of the highlights of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s magnificent home in Montecito, where they live with their children Archie and Lilibet, is their spotless home office.
Allison P. Davis was graciously welcomed into the couple’s home office for Meghan’s interview with The Cut. The two operate Archewell from their joint home office, specifically from two plush club chairs positioned side by side behind a single desk and facing the room like thrones, she claimed.
While launching a special initiative with Archewell on the occasion of her 40th birthday, the Duchess of Sussex also gave an extensive tour of her incredible office space.
A traditional fireplace was clearly visible behind the Duchess as she sat at her rustic wooden desk in one of two cream dining room-style chairs with the other covered in a Hermes blanket.
The mother-of-two had a sprawling desk full of other aesthetically pleasing items in complementary muted tones, and she propped her laptop up at eye level on a stack of white books.
A white crystal vase with white flowers was in a golden vase, and there were two large trays for paperwork. Meghan also had a Burleigh teacup and a plate on a floral tray by her side.
One of the many windows in the room, which is spacious and light, was occupied when Prince Harry made a funny cameo in the video and tried to juggle to divert his wife.
Meghan Markle’s home decor style
Other rooms in the home have been featured in previous virtual appearances, including the family’s living room, which has been decorated with the same level of care. The chic room uses a similar color scheme of natural wood and cream and is furnished with coffee table books, candles, and crystals.
The goal of Meghan’s 4040 project is to inspire people all over the world to pledge to donate 40 minutes of their time to support women who are returning to the workforce.
In a personal post on the Archewell website, Meghan stated: “I’m struck that TIME IS AMONG OUR GREATEST AND MOST ESSENTIAL GIFTS: Time with our loved ones, time spent doing the things we love, time spent learning, laughing, growing, and the sacred time we have on this earth. Spending time in service to others is another one of the most priceless gifts of time because you know it will help bring about amazing change.
