Meghan Markle details sweet reaction parents had when she attended birthday party with Archie

Even though Prince Harry and Meghan Markle live in Montecito, California, among many wealthy and illustrious neighbors, they occasionally experience star-struckness.

The couple enjoys spending time with their kids, Archie and Lilibet, and they have developed a close-knit group of friends.

Meghan shared details about their daily activities, living arrangements, and family antics with journalist Allison P. Davis for The New York Times in an interview with The Cut.

This included a party Meghan recently attended with her firstborn, Archie, who is three years old, which left some other parents a little taken aback.

They recently took Archie to a classmate’s birthday party; everyone was shocked that they showed up, Meghan claims in the article.

She continued by disclosing what the mother of two had told them regarding the gathering. “I saw this 1-year-old inside a bounce house while I was inside one. I was like, ‘Where’s your mom?’ And the mother outside exclaims, “Oh, hi! Here I am. I wasn’t sure whether or not to enter.

Then, Allison claims, Meghan began to laugh before saying, “Do you need your child? Of course you’re welcome to enter.

The in-depth interview revealed a lot of information about Harry and Meghan’s life in the UK outside of their official roles as royals.

One aspect is the way they educate their kids, especially Archie, about people who are less fortunate than they are.

Allison observed Meghan and Archie performing a touching ritual on their way home from preschool.

“If he [Archie] forgets to say please or thank you, Meghan reminds him of the manners that make the man,” she wrote during the car ride.

“At a stoplight, she [Meghan] reaches into the trunk and produces a brand-new black backpack and hands it to her security detail to give to an unhoused man on the corner,” she continued.

The Sussexes made the decision to step down as senior royals in 2020

“They are showing Archie that not everyone lives in a house, some do, some do, and some live in a house between two others,” they said. They created kits to distribute that included granola bars, water, and peanut butter crackers. Then Archie says, “I ate one!”

Once the family returns to their home in California after attending the funeral of Prince Harry’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, the sweet routine will undoubtedly continue.
