Meghan Markle opens up about relationship with Prince Harry

The Duchess of Sussex shared a remarkably uncommon glimpse into the day of her and Prince Harry’s royal wedding.

In an interview, Meghan Markle discussed the speech she made on May 19, 2018, following the wedding of her and Prince Harry at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, which was watched by millions of people.

The mother-of-two revealed in a rare interview with The Cut that “our love story is the piece of my life I haven’t been able to share, that people haven’t been able to see.”

She continued by quoting Allison P. Davis, who writes for The Cut, about the conclusion of a speech she gave at her wedding.

She claimed that she found solace in the “resounding knowledge that love ultimately triumphs.” I hope that’s how people react when they see any of the projects or content we’re working on, she continued.

Since the day of their wedding, Meghan and Harry’s life has undergone a significant change. The couple moved from the UK to the US after announcing in 2021 that they would no longer be active members of the royal family.

Harry and Meghan last appeared in public in the UK on September 8, when they attended Queen Elizabeth’s funeral along with other members of the royal family and world leaders.

Days after the late monarch’s passing, the couple went to Windsor Castle grounds to see floral tributes with the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Following Her Majesty’s passing, the duo issued a heartfelt tribute that read: “We are all reminded of the compass she was to so many in their dedication to service and duty as we commemorate the life of my grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen, and mourn her passing.

She was revered and admired everywhere. “Throughout her life and as her lasting legacy, her unfailing grace and dignity remained true. Let’s repeat what she said after her husband, Prince Philip, passed away because those words can comfort all of us at this time: “Life, of course, consists of final partings as well as first meetings.”
