Archie Harrison, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s eldest son, has no trouble understanding their relationship even though they were married for almost a year before he was born.
After Prince Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior royals and moved to the United States in June 2020, the young boy, age three, moved into his expansive Montecito home, estimated to be worth £11.2 million. Meghan revealed that during the house-hunting process, her husband fell in love with the grounds of their family home and pointed out one charming feature that honored the couple’s close relationship.

In a recent interview with The Cut, Duchess Meghan remarked, “Those two palm trees were one of the first things my husband saw when we walked around the house.” “Look at the bottom to see how they are joined. My love, it’s us, he says.”
Meghan made the sweet admission that this message was apparently conveyed to their son: “And now Archie always says, “Hi Momma,” when he passes by us. Hello, Papa.” What a sweetie!

A mutual friend arranged for Meghan and Harry to meet at Soho House’s Dean Street Townhouse in London in the summer of 2016. Authors of Finding Freedom Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand revealed a friend shared the following after enjoying dinner on their second date at the same Soho restaurant: “At that point, Harry was aware that they would be dating. She moved quickly through each box.”
The couple’s engagement to wed was announced by Kensington Palace in November 2017. They then had a private evening reception for guests at Frogmore House in Windsor, close to the couple’s former home, after getting married in May 2018 at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
Meghan looked stunning as a bride in a floor-length dress with a boat neckline created by Clare Waight Keller for French fashion house Givenchy. For the evening reception, she switched to a halter-neck dress by Stella McCartney.

Instead of following convention, which calls for speeches from the groom, the best man, and the bride’s father, Meghan chose to speak briefly.
The Cut reports that Meghan acknowledged finding solace in the “resounding knowledge that, above all, love wins.”
