When they departed the Saturday night vigil for the Queen’s coffin, the Duke of Sussex and Zara Tindall showed off their close relationship.
As they followed the Prince of Wales through Westminster Hall’s doors, Prince Harry was seen joining his left arm to his cousin’s right arm.
They also shared a car, so it goes without saying that the pair would have supported one another after the tearful vigil for their late grandmother.
In the vast Westminster Hall, Prince William and Prince Harry, both wearing the Blues and Royals No. 1 uniform, stood in solemn silence with their heads bowed in her honor.
Zara and Peter Phillips stood at the corners, flanking future king William.
Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie were on either side of the coffin, with James, Viscount Severn, the Queen’s youngest grandchild, who is only 14 years old, and Lady Louise Windsor, age 18, in the middle. Harry was positioned between them.
At public gatherings over the years, such as royal weddings, Trooping the Colour, and the London 2012 Olympics, where equestrian Zara won a silver medal in Team eventing, the eight grandchildren of the Queen have shown off their close relationship.
The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations brought Harry and his wife, Meghan, back to the UK for the first time since they stepped down as senior royals in March 2020.
After a service of thanksgiving, the Sussexes were seen catching up with Zara and her older brother, Peter, outside St. Paul’s Cathedral.
Only the Earl and Countess of Wessex were present at the vigil on Saturday to support their teenage children, Lady Louise and James, Viscount Severn. The spouses of the royal grandchildren were not there.
