On Saturday night, the Queen’s grieving family will reunite for a moving memorial service to the late monarch.
Prior to her funeral on September 19, all eight of her grandchildren will hold a 15-minute vigil in Westminster Hall by her casket.

Prince Harry will will take up position at the Foot, while Prince William will stand at the Head. They will both be donning their military uniforms at the king’s request.
The other grandkids, including Zara Tindall, Peter Phillips, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, Lady Louise, and James, Viscount Severn, will wear morning coats and dark formal attire with decorations.
The vigil will be held 24 hours after their parents hold the same service, and the younger generation is eager to honor their cherished grandmother as well.
However, royal observers might be shocked to see their spouses absent. Notably, Jack Brooksbank, Mike Tindall, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Duchess Meghan and Princess Kate will not attend the vigil.

Both Kate and Meghan will stay at their respective homes in Windsor because it has been decided to have the grandchildren get together without their wives and husbands.
However, they will all be present on Monday for the Queen’s funeral. Just as her father King George VI was, the coffin will be brought to Westminster Abbey at 10:44 a.m. on the Royal Navy’s State Gun Carriage.
King Charles III and other members of the royal family and the royal household will be in the procession behind the coffin.
At 10:52 am, when they get to Westminster Abbey, a bearer party will bring the coffin inside for the funeral.
The service will conclude at approximately 11:55 a.m. with the sounding of The Last Post and a two-minute period of silence. At 12 o’clock, the national anthem will end the state funeral.
