Prince Harry details time the Queen hugged his two children in heartbreaking tribute

The grieving Prince Harry  opened up about his feelings of loss following the passing of his grandmother, the Queen.

Prince Harry made the following statement on his and his wife Meghan Markle’s Archewell website: “We are all reminded of the guiding compass she was to so many in her commitment to service and duty as we celebrate the life of my grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen, and as we mourn her passing.

Let us repeat the words she uttered following the death of her husband, Prince Philip, words that can now comfort all of us: “Life, of course, consists of final partings as well as first meetings.” Her unwavering grace and dignity remained true throughout her life and are now her everlasting legacy.”

Added him: “While we are very sad to say goodbye, Granny, I will always be grateful for all of our first encounters, from the time I first remember you as my grandmother to the first time I met you as my commander-in-chief to the first time you hugged your cherished great-grandchildren.

“I treasure the times we have spent together as well as all the other wonderful experiences we have had. Not just by us, but by everyone in the entire planet, you are already dearly missed. We now honor my father in his new capacity as King Charles III when it comes to first encounters.

In closing, Prince Harry thanked his grandmother and said, “We, too, smile knowing that you and grandfather are reunited now, and both together in peace. Thank you for your commitment to duty. Thank you for your great advise.

In the company of her loved ones, Her Majesty passed away at the age of 96 in her Scottish vacation home, Balmoral. Everyone was overjoyed to see the Prince and Princess of Wales and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex reunited for a weekend visit in Windsor.

Harry and Meghan were privately invited by Prince William. Since the memorial of Princess Diana was unveiled in July, the rival brothers William and Harry have not been spotted together.

The royal couples greeted members of the public while wearing all-black attire. On Thursday, Prince Harry traveled to Balmoral. He and the Queen shared a very special relationship. Later, tearful photos showed the Duke consoling airport workers as he traveled from Aberdeen airport to London to see Meghan.
