Princess Charlotte, the daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, received a deluge of congratulations when she turned seven in May.
Prince William and Kate have shared the cutest thank you card on behalf of the young royal along with one of the official photos shared with royal fans on her actual birthday.
The Duchess, a talented photographer, took the picture in Norfolk, and it featured a cheerful Charlotte sitting among wildflowers, donning a pretty blue sweater over a white blouse, and having her long hair fall past her shoulders.
The image of Prince William and Kate’s heartfelt thank you note was posted on Instagram by the royal blog loopycrown3. “Thank you for the kind birthday message you sent for Princess Charlotte’s seventh birthday,” read the touching message.
“Princess Charlotte had a wonderful day and The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge send you their very best wishes,” reads a statement from the palace.
Charlotte has been extremely busy lately, attending a number of events in honor of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. She’ll undoubtedly be anticipating a leisurely summer with her brothers, Prince George and Prince Louis.
Eight-year-olds Charlotte and George left their Battersea, London, school Thomas’ on July 8 while Louis, a four-year-old, left his Willcocks nursery school on July 6.
It’s likely that the Cambridges will visit the Queen later this summer since they typically go to Balmoral, Scotland, in August. The family has traveled to Aberdeenshire before on commercial flights. For William, Kate, and their young children, this is an exciting time.
In order to be nearer to the Queen and Kate’s parents Carole and Michael Middleton, who reside in Berkshire, the family is reportedly moving to Windsor this summer.
