The reason why Kate Middleton and Prince William took George to Wimbledon and not Charlotte or Louis

On Sunday, Prince George attended Wimbledon’s center court with his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, for the first time, and he appeared to be having a great time.

It appears that William wanted his son to follow in his footsteps and take George to Wimbledon just two weeks shy of his ninth birthday – the same age he made his own debut alongside his late mother, the Princess of Wales – and that the young prince’s public debut was not unplanned.

However, some royals fans might be perplexed as to why his younger siblings Prince Louis, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 7, were absent from the Novak Djokovic and Nick Kyrgios men’s singles final.

Louis is still too young to be admitted to the event, according to Wimbledon rules, which state that kids must be at least five years old to avoid causing a disturbance.

It was extremely unusual for the young prince to appear in the royal box because typically kids aren’t allowed to sit there. Children are never permitted to sit in the royal box unless they are members of the royal family.

Next year, player Novak Djokovic plans to bring his daughter to a game. “She’s not old enough to watch a match live, so she wasn’t allowed to, but hopefully next year if she’s interested, which she wasn’t so much in tennis, she can watch daddy play live,” he said to Sue Barker.

Not only has George attended Wimbledon, but he has also been photographed at the Euro finals, where he was spotted rooting for the England team.

The eight-year-old appeared to have enjoyed his first appearance at the prestigious tennis competition as much as he did watching football, as evidenced by the smile on his face as he sat in his seat.

The commentator during the championship revealed that all three of the kids take pleasure in playing the game. The young group’s mother, who is well known for her love of the sport, would appear to be the source of their enthusiasm for tennis.

Kate even went to the Women’s Singles Final on Saturday by herself and witnessed Elena Rybakina’s thrilling victory over Ons Jabeur. Elena then received the infamous Rosewater Dish from the Duchess following her incredible victory of 3-6, 6-2, 6-2.
